DGN 6200 Chris Duhon

Club: Abbeville

Chris Duhon is a member of the Rotary Club of Abbeville, LA. He joined the club in 2013 and he immediately became involved by being the Program Chair and he served in administrative roles, and on the board as Club Treasurer, Secretary, President Elect and Club President in the Rotary year of 2020-2021. During his year as President, he along with the team; overcame the challenges of COVID, maintained club involvement and growth within the community while supporting the Rotary Foundation.

Chris is married to fellow Rotarian Lisa Duhon and together they have four children, three grandchildren and four fabulous fur babies (Whippets). Both have chosen healthcare and the caring of others as their career paths. Today they are both RN’s and have been in healthcare for 34+ years. Their career began in 1990 as Certified Nursing Assistants, then both graduating LPN school together and continuing to pursue their Registered Nursing Degree’s individually while they raised their family. Chris is currently the Vice President of Education, Leadership and Development for LHC Group and Lisa is the Director of Quality and Clinical Informatics at LHC Group. Chris and Lisa are owners of C&L Duhon Enterprises which is a real estate business as they expand their passion of helping people from nursing care to directly supporting the community.

Chris is currently Rotary Leadership Institute Chair and is serving this role for District 6200. Chris is also a member of the Visioning committee as well as District Community Service Chair. He will be serving as Assistant District Governor for Rotary year of 2023-24 and District Governor Nominee.

Chris and Lisa support the Rotary Foundation and are passionate about contributions to the foundation which spreads goodness across the world’s communities. They are both Paul Harris Fellows, Benefactors, and members of the Bequest Society with major donations to the endowment fund.
